HOBY Washington Team Alumni 2016 Application

THIS APPLICATION IS DUE JANUARY 31, 2016 at 11:59 PM

Hey HOBY!

This is Bree Zender and Nick Panebianco, and we are the Director and Co-Director of the Team Alumni program here at HOBY Washington.

Here's a bit about us. Bree is from Bellingham, Washington, and an alumni of HOBY WA 2010. This will be her sixth HOBY, and her second as the TA Mama. She's been a TA and a facilitator for past HOBYs. She lives in Missoula, Montana where she attends the University of Montana. She is double majoring in journalism and theatre. While she's not studying and literally becoming Hugh O'Brian, she works at the UM Admissions Office, the UM newspaer, and is a sketch and improv comedian on the side.

Nick is from Camas, Washington and an Alumni of HOBY WA 2011. This will be his fifth HOBY while being his first year in TA Papa. While Nick is not single handedly saving the entire world, he studies Medical Anthropology and Global Health at the UW Seattle campus while hoping to pursue a career in nursing.

The Team Alumni is an essential part of HOBY and there would be no way it could run without them. We're not going to lie and say it's an easy job, but it's extremely rewarding. You'll get to know your fellow TAs that you didn't get to know fully from your first HOBY. You'll get to know the staff, and make connections. And most importantly, you'll help inspire a fresh group of  Hobsters to live up to their outstanding leadership potentials.

The seminar will be held at Washington State University in Pullman from June 16-19, 2016. Please note that if chosen, you will be required to be there for a staff meeting the evening of the 15th.
